Re: More OT:Ridgway racing antics

We were there testing a couple of early 911s in the same sessions - pretty big speed differentials!

Re: 914 TO 915 TRANSMISSION WEVO KIT

I have a surplus Wevo 915 kit if that helps or is relevant in any way? I am guessing a 914 to 915 kit is a bit more complicated

Re: Flipping Ek

Interesting Neil and familiar from my time in markets. I remember people making lots of money by being right for the wrong reasons. It's also the age of zero interest rates and quantitative easing and that has to show up somewhere. Sometimes it's old cars, sometimes it's something else that's in fas...

Re: RST parked in East Anglia

John said he'd owned three RS's - easy to get the details wrong. He's owned a ton of interesting stuff and is a great supporter of historic motorsport - maybe a little more slack could be cut

Re: Members Motorcycles

A couple of pre-lockdown acquisitions. Very happy with both, though my kick-starting technique could usefully be improved! The green bike is a 1968 Commando fastback and the red bike is a 1969 Dunstall Commando https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50849546023_6541918cd0_c.jpg DSC_0001 by robert barri...

What information is that Mark? I am not trying to be clever or funny, I genuinely didn't/don't know. Is there a published registry somewhere? Many thanks, Robert

Re: 64 65 66 Porsche 911 RHD platform and database

That's good to hear Ian and many thanks for the contribution. The rear wiper was an unusual, but sometimes seen, option on LHD cars. I am not sure one was fitted to a RHD car from the 1965-66 model years, but stand to be corrected. I think there is more chance one was fitted to a 1967 S? I am also n...

Re: 64 65 66 Porsche 911 RHD platform and database

It's just me and the tumble weed here now! Two questions for the early RHD experts: 1. Did any early RHD cars - those from the 1965 and 66 model years - have a rear screen wiper as original equipment? If not, which is the earliest RHD car to do so? 2. Did RHD/UK market cars from the same period have...
