Nice find KS!

I recall a discussion about 10 years ago - either on here, or maybe another forum - where investigations were done and it was decided that the car was scrapped in the 80s.
I’ve always hoped that was not true, and that someone somewhere is still driving around in it... what a “Letter From Europe” that would make ;-)

I believe the car does exist, in a small and rather nice collection

I know that car. The guy who was doing the resto did a bare metal job on mine. It was sat for years in the corner. Basically the owners bought it and wanted a resto, but once panels starting being removed a horror show of holes was left. The owner didn't know what they wanted to do so left it. Occasionally they would throw a bit of money at it, but it basically didn't get worked on for 2 years that I saw.

Porsche for sale of the day..........

They are nice enough cars but I don’t get the price of them. There are some belting hot rods at 1/6th of the price with DDK/Rgruppe owners that look as nice if not nicer and you’d still have 700k in your pocket.

I guess the mega rich will pay it to say they have a ‘Singer’ as the name has a cool factor now and they at least seem to be holding their mega values.

Personally I’d rather have a genuine 2.7RS, 964RS AND a 993RS for the same price as one Singer..
