993 tARGA'S
Hi Not usually my subject as historically a 72/73 owner but needs must. I'm considering a 993 Tip so the wife can use it as well but not sure about the Targa sliding glass ones. There seems a few on the market anyone any experience on these, some have said to avoid as expensive if it goes wrong. Tha...

I'll have a play with the small section to the far left of the dash it appears to be on a piece of thin metal.

Re: Material used on Dash board
HI Nick
I think I have some and as I now know the area is in sections across the car I may have enough to be able to do each section I'll have to dig around in the garage . Do you think it matters its not the same material as leather is thicker and it needs to fit in the groves ?

Material used on Dash board
I know I saw a thread on this but cannot find it. Has anyone come up with the correct material mines a beige leatherette and I need a little more for where the radio sits ? (Someone had removed it when they upgraded the radio just from that section). I understand the radio should have the material r...

Re: Front Valance
I will be changing mine very soon. I have a metal ( no rust) earlier front valance that I will be changing for a S style as it was an option on my E in 72/73. It will have the spot light covers but will not have the alloy rubber section as I will transfer that to my S bumper. Is this what you want. ...

Re: 911/912 Door adjustment
I am just doing this job in order to get the glass working in the frames better. I think I am right in saying that you can adjust the top frame by loosening the (my car had) five bolts which hold the frame in place. There is then a lot of movement. You will have to take down the door cards, bins, ha...

Can I remove the window motors without removing the regulators.? Can I remove the motors without taking out the glass and hence frame?

Re: Vin Plates
Nick
I suppose the quick question is do I get a VIN plate created to show the new Crank case number rather than one which would have originally been there with the old numberr on it.

Vin Plates
Hi I had been following the thread on Vin plate stamping but have a slightly different conundrum. I do need to get a plate made up as per the thread but I have had to have a new cradle for my engine because some twit looked to have attempted to remove heat exchanger with an angle grinder and it slip...

Re: Dash speaker recommend ?
Hi I have thought about this from the point of view of keeping things authentic looking but up to date. There are a few alternatives. I did not want to drill about too much but it would be possible to fit a unit further back under the dash with two made up speaker boxes up under the dash in the corn...
