Re: O/T DIY aircon recharge

Re: To Stripe or not To Stripe
Thick Irish green stripe, 10mm wide irish green stripe either side of it. I'd be tempted to just do the bonnet and scuttle, leaving the roof and rear end as they are.

Lovely. As ever, there are things I would change, but I'd still run that happily.

Re: Things I Love….
Hugs from my kids. Irn-Bru in a glass bottle. Driving my old Range Rover again and finding myself smiling at all the creaks and rattles. Moving in to my new garage and covering the walls in posters of cars and girls. Big boobs, big arses and mummypouches. Yes, I know I'm a wrong 'un. Getting another...

Re: Unmarked police cars !!
South Yorkshire have an array of different vehicles, 5 series, S max's, 3 series, Focus St, Audi A4 Avant, and the customary dull Volvo's. They have sets of 'ghost' plates, i.e more than 1 reg no. registered to each car so the 'eagle eyed' motorist can't take note of the reg no. cos it may have a d...

Re: Installing hard Brakelines
I always make my own as well. I've found you can sometimes get them straight if you roll them between two bits of wood. Radii I'll form over anything round that's in or near the garage - be that a vice handle, socket, trailer nosewheel...

Re: 1974 Carrera Coupe - RHD, UK car
But just look at all the fantastic colours Porsche offered in 1974! Standard offerings included: Light Yellow, Orange, Mexico Blue, India Red, Desert Beige, Grand Prix White, Chocolate Brown, Peru Red, and Lime Green. Plus a handful of metallics. And then at least a dozen more shades at extra cost....

That is the nuts, yes.
Currently sorting out all my old VolksWorlds - right back to July 1991, when I was a mere 9 years old - and I'm going to have to look out that one. If I remember rightly that wasn't even the cover star!
