I'm sure Keith just posted elsewhere that these have a golf ball gear knob.

What's happened to originality these days!!

Ps, send me the spec sheet Bootsy please.

Regards
Mike

Looks great. Was talking to a friend (who has a very similar car to this) yesterday about Mk1 prices. Seeing as you can't get a grotter for less than a grand now, this strikes me as cheap. Is it yours, Thomas?

It's not mine Jamie, it would be in a heartbeat if I had the garage space. It's a good friend's who works on my cars. I'm looking after it and helping promote the sale a little.

Lovely. As ever, there are things I would change, but I'd still run that happily.

I do love a Mk1 8)

It does look well executed and I'd say someone's getting an awful lot of work for their money…….seems a bargain!

Decent price and workmanship looks good. Definitely would not be able to build that for £5.5k now.

I have a 1980 series 1 Gti with the same engine on dual dellorto 45s and can say the prices really are going up and that golf will shift. With probably around 850kg pulling it down, 150bhp goes some.

Nice car, good luck with the sale.
