I do not know if this would count towards the DDK total, but Carolyn and i raised £4,500 for Macmillan on the 2008 Cape to cape. All of this was handed over to Macmillan in Lincolnshire.

Does that count?

Been out of circulation for a bit...marking GCSE English papers, family funeral etc...but I still need a set of 5 1/2 x 15" wheels for 1966 912 (with disc brakes all round!).

Car still in garage awaiting spare time to fix fuel snag!

We're back from the Tour and raised very nearly £4500 for Macmillan Cancer Support. But...the 912 failed us on the M1 on the way to Cornwall and had to be 'lorried' home in time for us to swap cars to our 2002 KIA. Fuel starvation apparently is the cause...originally diagnosed as a worn eccentric ca...

I urgently require a full set of wheels for the 912 before I vanish on the Cape to Cape Tour at the end of this month. I have the tyres, now I need something on which to fit them!

Next stop...Tesco's on the 5 April. We raised much money for Macmillan on 14th, now getting greedy.

But we've just about reached our target and it seems we may actually beat it this year.

My 912 has no engine number...

We leave from cape Cornwall on 27 April at around 0830...and will arrive at Plymouth for the ferry for Roscoff later that evening. And will have driven 200 miles or so before we get to the ferry!
