A 912 day at Andy's Place Max Page and Prill

Post by 912uk »

Andy has very kindy offered to host a 912 day at his new workshop in Essex. I know there was talk of this last year from Speedster boy but I think the trail went cold. So I would like it if I could have some sort of feedback for people interested..

I would say for newer owners it's going to be one of the best days for learning about your car. Bring a note book and pen because it's 912 overload in just a few hrs. When I came to Andy's Tec day back in gosh 2001? ish it was a real eye opener to what's being done by so called Pro's and alot of US cars.. I think it's been one of the reasons I went away to try and learn as much as I could about these cars and their enignes. There is a mine field of information out there and not all of it is good. So to try and get some direction on what's good and what's not then I would come along

I will have to talk with Andy for some dates but I would have said later in the year. Poss to wards the end of the summer with other commitments to the likes of Classic Le Mans etc..and Andy's racing calender. There is a few hotels in the area 20 mins ways I can ask for rates. There is a Express By Holiday in Braintree I have used. It seams a safe car park and it's next to a nice Pub for food. And about 10 mins walk from Terry's place who is a body work man I am sure would come along for a beer and a chat..

So what do you guys think?? Post up your interest..

Yes please. I briefly spoke to Andy today and was fascinated by the short conversation we had so a day there would be terrific!

Oh yeah I remember now I was just trying to think who was there and if I could still find that orginal picture.. I speak with David every now and then but he is a busy man nowadays with his new company. Plus I am not 100% sure if his white 912 is back on the road what with the suspension panel problems.......
