Yes Rob they are.Robster wrote:Hi Jon, if the are the same springs on the car when you bought it from me, they are '165's. Regards, Rob
I am “softening up” the car to see if I can persuade my wife to come out in it with me and as a trial for my six build.

Shock absorbers for comfort

So, which shock absorbers should I chose? Out of the many makes available which ones will give the most comfortable ride? Most web...

Re: refurbing rear calipers
I did mine ok.
Didn't bother to take the handbrake mechanism out as it can be greased in situ and that is all that's needed.
I did find the O rings supplied from mittelmotor were too fat. Couldn't make them fit at all. Luckily I have a big box full of O rings so I just found some that fitted better.

Re: Windscreen fitting
I used modern screen adhesive/mastic. It doesn't have an activator you just need to apply a primer to the glass surface. It has worked fine for three years and counting.
To be honest £300 from porsche sounds like a fair price and you know the quality will be good.

Re: Service items - where from?
Pelican Parts list them all. If you're not in a hurry it only takes a little over a week for things to come from the states.
