Re: front arb for 69 911
Hi Graham,
I have just swapped mine over and put on an OEM arb. I have taken off a weltmeister bar complete with all its gubbins. Let me know if you fancy it. £100?
Cheers
Rich

Dave,
That’s an incredible build done right with no corners cut. Very impressive but I do have one suggestion. A new thread name.

Re: Replacement engine lids - guidance
Gary, I have a good used one from a 71. I think it’s rust free but has two holes for a GB badge ( I know and not me). It’s silver so I was going to get all the holes filled and paint it as a spare with a decal porsche. I’ll check the condition if you are interested. ( it’s in the roof). No idea on a...

Re: 1968 911L Rally
Dave,
Thanks for the info. I’d not heard of them before. My 1970 T was built in July 69 so was probably kicking around there somewhere the background!

Re: 1968 911L Rally
Indeed some great wordsmithery! Surprised by European collectibles as they do often have genuinely rare cars. Thankfully I’m not in the market for that sort of car ! I normally poke my nose in and have a chat when over there as I stay nearby.
I agree that it looks like it would be a fun car!

Re: 1968 911L Rally
Crikey that is a leap if correct. They clearly are saying it is a factory rally car. Whilst you are here Stretch can you shed any light on the factory lightweight cars from 69 that were pictured on the Porsche pic of the day thread? I’d never heard of them before.

I’ve always loved this car but it seems to have had a lot of work since it was for sale at Canepa a few years ago.
