Replacement engine lids - guidance

Post by Gary71 »

After a bit of inspection today I found my engine lid is beyond my skill level to repair.

Any guidance as to the best route for replacement and fit relative to the original?

It’s for a ‘72 Coupe.
Thanks

Gary,
I have a good used one from a 71. I think it’s rust free but has two holes for a GB badge ( I know and not me).
It’s silver so I was going to get all the holes filled and paint it as a spare with a decal porsche. I’ll check the condition if you are interested. ( it’s in the roof).
No idea on a price.
Cheers

Rich

Hi Rich, If you can take a look for me I’d appreciate it as I’ve abandoned the repair of mine having tried twice!
