Re: Saturday 30th June
Well done Graham. A great little spot and surprisingly busy with cyclists, hikers, drivers and dogs.

Re: Tomtom unit or app on phone
I swap between Tomtom Go on the iPhone, Apple Maps and Google Maps. No particular benefit to either apart from low data usage on Tomtom. I used about 300 Mb each on the maps, but I have a 30Gb plan

Re: Holiday in Argentina
I spent 2 months in Argentina in 1982, leaving just before the Falklands invasion. I rode A BMW bike down to Tierra del Fuego (starting from Alaska) and had a great time, if it hadn't been for the invasion I would have stayed a lot longer. You are covering the 3 main attractions, but get up into the...

Re: Inner tubes with AVon tubeless tyres
Very odd. Porsche changed from the deep 6 (tubed) to the flat 6 (tubeless) with humps in May 1971. You can't fit tubed valves into the smaller valve hole on the tubeless rim.

Re: Inner tubes with AVon tubeless tyres
The smallest picture above is from my copy of a Roadtest of the U.K. Carrera RS press car from early in 73 -- a 72 production date example-- clearly road tester states tube type. It appears the factory used tube type on the early RS maybe even all the RS fitted with Pirelli until the introduction o...

Re: Fan Housing Refinishing
I carry out this service. Up until recently my plater has been using Aluchrome 1200, but due to Heath and Safety concerns now only does 600, which gives a lighter finish and is less protective.

Re: Yeah!! No MOT needed...
This is true but it would be impractical to MOT a car every morning before commuting to work so the government has decided that a car with a current MOT is deemed to be roadworthy for one year from the date of testing. Is that how it works ? An MOTed car is not automatically deemed to be roadworthy...
