Classic LeMans - DDK Friday Meet

Post by hot66 »

We are having our traditional DDK Friday morning meet at Classic LeMans again 8) no chicane this year due to the circuit being closed early, so change of location to the mulsanne parking in the woods next to the track.

It would be great to see as many ddk cars as possible . Hopefully we can get all the cars lined up for a photo

Location : Mulsanne Parking ( Parking pass required)

Date : Friday 6th July

Time : 11am

I've done the maps below to help those who have never been find it. Easiest way is to follow the road past Arnage corner . 2nd map shows route from our campsite. Don't try and use sat nav as it will try and take you down the race track which will be closed . The entrance goes past the sports fields on a dirt track into the woods .

You will probabally need Mulsanne parking pass to access the area or you might be luck and drive straight in. If they stop you, you will need to park on the track and walk in .

Meet at 11am, perfect timing to then walk to the Mulsanne corner and watch the group C cars at mid day

( ignore the 2 minutes , it does take longer than that )

James, there is 12 Euro parking fee there, although it may not be in operation on the Friday morning.

we know, but it was decided as most are buying the parking pass it would be as good location as we can then all watch the Group C after too. Wanted the meet to still have some link to the circuit rather than being in a market place in some random village some miles away.

If they are asking for tickets , then worse case park up on the dirt track & walk in.

Youl need your general admission ticket to gain entrance to the Mulsanne viewing area

Hi James

Unfortunately our group won't get there in time for the Friday morning meet which is a shame, but we will be there for Friday night which last time was a quiet affair as you all got smashed on the Thursday night last time if I recall correctly?

Pace yourselves boys, i have a cunning plan for Friday night............................................
