seats and sizing

seat rail distance from centre hole to centre hole on my car (1968 912 lhd)is optional either 48 or 49 metric the seats i have are 46 metric :? :? . does this mean that the seats i have are for a early 912 911 or 356 :?: :(

also their colour silver is pretty good and the man in charge is very helpful and will tell you that you can add things if you are not up to the minimum,,,,,,,,,,,which i thought was really cool. 8)

shot blasters

theres a good shotblaster powder coater in deptford SE8 : surrey plastics finishes limited 0208 694 1502
they do powder and plastic coating . a while back they did my friends cycle frame and they have some bits of mine at the moment.
and they're not expensive. :D

pray tell, how do you get sound deadening material to stick to the roof if it isnt the self adhesive variety , you cant turn the car upside down and you are not an octopus :?:
it felt like a scene from mr bean. :( maybe the glue i need has to be more like shelac.
