It's hard to tell the difference at this early stage, but it looks much neater and I know it is going to be miles stronger.

Incase anyone is wondering why I have decided to go this route...

The speedster Clinic chassis / floor offers many benefits over a shortened VW floorpan which include:

* Rear suspension on the Martin & Walker set up did not allow much suspension travel particlularly if you want the correct low down stance at the rear. The speedster clinic floor means i can have the rear looking and still have some suspesnion at the rear. I dont like "speedster" replicas that look high up at the rear like many of the Chesils do. If that's your thing or it doesnt bother you, that's fine, but i want mine to sit low at the rear and still have some suspension travel.

* Stronger

* Proper heater channels not external pipes etc which look neater.

* Thicker steel used all around and more metal in the whole thing which equates to (you've guessed it) Stronger!

I had all sorts of issues before with the car bending and flexing due to there not being any strength in the car. We set up the door gaps perfectly only to find they would move each time a person got it or out of the car. This is not acceptable as it means the rear was moving about too much. Also meant a ridiculous bouncy and bumpy ride.
