Help required re : seats
Has anyone attempted restoration of Porsche 911 seat frames/ bases/rails etc.? What is the best method for rubbing back years of rust / grime etc. and then what black finish is recommended ?
Thanks in advance for any help ?

Hi Tim - are you talking about that Recaro sport seat you bought on ebay?
I would get the frame shotblasted & powder-coated black.
The reclining mechanism on the side of the seat was painted black - I think it was 'wrinkle' finish.
