Sorry Mike but we disagree on Franks car because my point with his car is that an equivalent manual car would sell at his asking price. It does not have a paint change, it does not have a non-matching engine, it is all original. It is only the sporto box which makes it discountable and if we follow your argument then anything will sell if you discount it enough. My point all along has not been about 'worth' but the factors which make one car more desirable than another. Price was never mentioned in any of my replies because that was not the original question which was 'why has this car not sold?' It is far too simplistic to say 'because it's not cheap enough' (which is obviously true for just about anything and everything in the world). My answers were attempting to be a little more sophisticated than that.

The Italian S looks great to me, the sum of the parts etc...... Matching numbers engines are great but there's no difference from one 2.2 S engine to another other than condition.

Mike is right though, it hasn't sold because it is too expensive for what it is according to the potential buyers out there.
