Re: The return of Kev - TODAY!!!
I only go to Volksworld every 3 -5 years. It's quite expensive to get in and it's a long trip from Leicester to the other side of London.
shame you didnt take Kev, the weather has been glorious. You got your car back at the just the right time!
How's progress going with it?

I ran my car thro last summer sans interior or hood
. Now sitting in my garage up on stands, stripped for paint. Got a nice new interior and hood done and its sitting in the loft.....maybe get the paint completed before summer is over !

Paul,
Your car is looking FANTASTIC !
Well worth the time, effort and money. Get your handling tweaks finished and enjoy !
Cheers

Very nice indeed Paul, the paint looks lovely in the evening light, are you happy with the finish after all the trials and tribulations ?

Yeah dont only about 100 odd miles though. Its spitting / spluttering a little when opening the throttle after coasting / braking up to junctions a bit - think needs the carbs setting up. Arden were supposed to do that too - useless company.
Steering still feels awful - I know its new and as things loosen up a bit I can re-adjust the steering box, but starting to look for alternative set up. Alternatively anyone know of any well made / accurate steering boxes?
Also need to raise the rear a little - under really heavy load the wheel rubs inside the bodywork.
