Gear Knob for 1973 911T
Not sure what an original looks like for this year, so if you have one for sale, please send a picture and price.

No, they're not the same.
914's had 5-speed gearboxes with a 'dog leg' gearshift pattern - '73 911's used the later 915 gearbox with a 'conventional' shift pattern.
This is the 901 knob (914 & early 911):

The early 915 knobs also had a clear top with the sliver embossed shift pattern.

I have a correct early 915 shift knob for sale. It is not a reproduction and is in fair/good condition. Sorry about the poor picture, I will take another today while I think of a price.
