Zenith 40 tin for sale

Post by ricou2K6 »

Hello,

my first message on your Forum , is "Carbs for sale"...

I'm sorry, but the good thing is that now i know your community, and i'll be present.

I have Zenith 40 tin for sale. They are working perfectly.

My car is a 911 S , 1966 and i put the it Weber IDS as original for it.

I drive the car with the Zenith since i buy it (4 years ago) without any problem.
You can put it in this statement or choose to clean them...

Thanks, and happy to be with you !!

It's good for my english writing, i hope that you can understand me right.

Welcome to the DDK :-) Do post some pictures of your '66S - here is one of my '66S:

Another member has a lovely red '66 manufactured 'S' - registered in '67 - I'm sure he'll post some photos too.

I did some research and apparently the very earliest 'S's came from the factory with IDA's on (stamped 'S" on the end) - IDS's were not fitted until mid '67 engine numbers - there is some good information about this on the forum.

Enjoy :-)

Mine is also Aga blue #6608 :-) With black interior.

How long have you owned her for? Do you know the chassis number? Mine is 305481S - built in September '66. Another DDK member Mike (210bhp) has a Polo Red '66S chassis number 305457S.

No - there are quite a few early 'S's in the Club - I've also remembered Martin (MdR's) lovely early car - I can't remember the chassis number, but it's a very early car.

Do post some more pictures of your beautiful car :-)

Sorry but it won't be before Monday for new pictures...

Also, what is the quote for our car in UK... ?
Here in France, it's between 30 000 and 40 000 € (i think, between 20 000 - 26 000 £ ) for a nice one.

Price is always dependent on condition and history - and there are much fewer right hand drive cars remaining (they rust very quickly in England!) - I would have said price was between 25,000 and 40,000 uk £'s at the moment - they are becomming very desirable.

Ok, the evolution is right similar in our country, and in other i think.

For my love story with "Porschinette" (as my girl friend name it...):

I was a young ingenior and with my first euros (in reality, it was "francs") i offered myself a old Porsche...
then i learned the history of the model, meet people with the same interest...and it's became a passion...!!!

I fully retore the car...and my dream is never separate it..!!
Of course, i hope that i 'll can buy other Porsche or old car , but this one: i keep it !!

the same thing in France !!

That's one of the reasons why Porsche amators are coming back to older and classics: pleasure , look, sensations with less, not without  ) but less risks to be Flashed ...
