Hi all.
Just joined. I have had my '72 911T since 1989. I got fed up with the leaky solexes about 10 years ago and fitted a top end from an E, including mechanical fuel injection. Then 2 years ago Nick Moss of Early 911 replaced several rusty panels (all on the left hand side for some reason?) and completely resprayed the car to an original colour for the year - signal orange. It's a good job - free plug for Nick - and I'll post some pics when I work out how. Apart from re upholstered seats, a few other panels and normal maintenance the car has cost me very little over 17 years and has been very reliable. I met some of you at the multi club annual event at the Fairmile in Cobham a month or so ago, which is when I was recruited. It wasn't a hard sell though because the welcome was very warm!!
See some of you again soon.

The Highland run sounds interesting. I'd be interested in doing that.
Helen, are you the organiser for that or is it someone else? See what you mean about the cars looking like twins. You had better keep your Fuchs locked on though.

Fairmile meetings
Viv,
I'd like to attend meetings at the Fairmile. Do you have a regular meeting time - e.g. a certain evening in the month?

all details for future events can be found in the "future events"area of the forum.. (see link below)
which includes a (which i do try and keep up to date) diary of forthcoming events..
you will be made most welcome at any DDK events or meeting, just come along and introduce yourself.
