of course our 'DDK Northern Event' is not an organised event, but a group of friends who all happen to have each booked their own rooms, coincidently in the same pub on the same weekend ;)

The drive on Saturday is not organised. I will suggest where to have lunch & will suggest a suitable route ;)

Absolutely - and if it's a repeat of last year - half will go one way at a junction - and half the other

Wasn't it a couple of 2.7RS's that didn't fancy the tank road last year that led us astray?
2006 RHD 997 Carrera (but DDK remains in my heart - also now no longer)
1972 LHD 2.4T with '73 2.4T CIS motor - gone to a new DDK home
1994 RHD 993 Carrera - gone!
1968 LHD 911L - was the Wife's but now in new hands :-(

So at least it looks like a real one now! If I could do just a few more fillings and extractions I might be able to get a proper one soon.

this time, Mike 'the dentist' is going to follow someone who knows where they are going ;)

BTW, we are going to be following official PCGB event guidlines ...... this means all replicas have to park in 'general' parking & not the designated Porsche area ;)

I think you need to get your eyes tested - last time I looked your horn trumpets were black. In a moment of sympathy I may be persuaded to swap you some red ones for a high quality filling or two?

I'll go back to my cave now. Promise not to come out for another 4 weeks or so.

Donkin - you can't comment - you've gone over to the 'dark' side with a modern Porsche - you'll be swapping it for a Coxster soon

I'll be there if I ever get my car back from Le Mans..

Due to the kindness of Tim and offers from Ian I've got parts to fix her before she is even back in my garage.

RAC will be getting a light reaming for this one.
