Time to get the rotton tomatoes out: you remember last year when I sold the 911 just before the Northern, and then I bought a TR4, and then a 911 (hopefully to do the Northern in) ....

Slight hitch: for one reason or another I might well be there in something more British than German, more four cylinder than six, more slow than fast and more, well erm, TR4'ish really  . I wonder if Ian's still got that lift :?: :P .

Looks as though the 911 won't get into the workshop until just after the Northern at the earliest now, sorry for those looking foward to the Rat look car, complete with roof rack  .

I am actually looking forward to seeing the TR4. Ian raves about it :)

Buy yourself some ear plugs & sit yourself in Micks passenger seat :)

Thanks chaps: feel bad for not flying the 'P' flag, but sounds like there'll be little shortage of Porsches :) .

Due to 'bonnet problems' on the visiting 911, the TR has taken it's place back in the workshop, so it's full steam ahead until it's finished now ....

And depending on how my plans go, please can I have a special dispensation to come in something a little newer than 1971?

Still just toying with ideas, but circumstances may make me act quicker than I may want to....

Sorry for the thread hijack - it's hot and the thunder storms here in West Florida right now are pretty awesome. Just wish I'd planned a bit better and got loads of parts delivered to bring home with me...

Erm, we've been sussed - looks like the Pink Cuddlies are planning a counter offensive on the same roads, on the same day!
