Picture was taken at Andial sometime in the early/mid '80's - think it's one of their 935/76 engine rebuilds destined for a 956.
I seem to remember they produced ~ 700bhp during qualifying but the boost was turned down afterwards to produce a more reliable 620bhp for the race duration - not bad for a 2.7 litre engine !

That is amazing.
It seemed bizarre to have the turbos so far away but it obviously worked well.
BTW (The comment was a reference to the Rohan and Martin laugh in - before your time maybe)
Time of year - we all get a bit snippy when it gets cold and the cars go away! But no need to delete anything - creating debate is what a forum is all about!
