Picture was taken at Andial sometime in the early/mid '80's - think it's one of their 935/76 engine rebuilds destined for a 956.

I seem to remember they produced ~ 700bhp during qualifying but the boost was turned down afterwards to produce a more reliable 620bhp for the race duration - not bad for a 2.7 litre engine ! 8)

That is amazing.
It seemed bizarre to have the turbos so far away but it obviously worked well.
BTW (The comment was a reference to the Rohan and Martin laugh in - before your time maybe)

Ha ha - not at all Jason - a revolutionary comedy programme at the time !

That phrase was uttered by the little German trooper every now & then ...

I tend to reply to pics like that in group chats with 'AI SLUDGE!!!' but I'm not sure if that's acceptable here.

That is some A.I. crap, as the roof is still fully intact as are the roof lines above the door openings, so going to be a bit hard to close!

Oops. Shall I delete it? Not up to my usual standards...

Or is everyone just getting more cranky and critical on here of late? Silence or snipey it seems?

Time of year - we all get a bit snippy when it gets cold and the cars go away! But no need to delete anything - creating debate is what a forum is all about!
