I've just had a word with my wife and she has infromed my that a can't make it because I'll be in Cornwall on Holiday, Sorry.

Oh the irony, I usually can't make events because they are too far down South and now when there's one on my doorstep I'm going to be about as far down south as you can get.

Oh-hum
Steven

Still on for Feb 18th though.

Please confirm that'll be OK

Cheers

That's brill - thanks

I might be able to get up on the Saturday now(!) - rearranged the holiday after negotiation with middle child over birthday party.

Would it be OK to tag along on the Saturday as well? :)

Also can you recommend someone for alternate accomodation - I don't want to put you to any trouble over it - I'll sort it myself but if you can just point me towards the best villages/towns to try I'll do the rest.

Cheers

I can recommend Ladyfield grange which I stayed in with Juliet last year.

Really nice people and great accomodation. Bit of a track to get there, but James made through in his low 2.4S and Mike in his 2.7RS, so should be OK. They also let you use the hose pipe in the courtyard for a tidy up wash after driving 200 miles to get there. This pic is in the yard:

Just take cash with you, the world of electronic payment hasn't quite landed in this part of Yorkshire

Saturday is fine as I don't have any restriction on numbers (Sunday I'm limited) . The place Gary as posted is superb, but for for this years event is about 1/2 hour away from where we are all staying. If you want to have some beers & eat with evryone else on the Saturday night then there are loads of places relatively close to the CB Inn. I don't have full computer access at the moment so don't have time to do any search's. You could always call the CB Inn & ask who they would recommend. I would look at finding somewhere in or near 'Reeth' and then yo can book a taxi for the Sat night :)

Not long now until we are all stood around the bar having a pint of Yorkshire's finest and swapping stories of suicidal sheep & blind crests

We will be parking down by the river @ Masham and I thought we would spend a couple of hours there so people can eat where they want to, nothing specifically organised as such.

I've had a mix up with my dates :? and as such I will not now be able to stay over as planned or do the Sunday run :( So my Superior Twin room and place on the Sunday outing is up for grabs. If anyone is interested in this (before I cancel my booking with the CB Inn) please let me know.

I will now be travelling down early Saturday morning (as I did last year) and going back in the evening.
