Re: PS autoart value
Fair point.
I’m going to see Ossie Ardiles and Gary Mabbutt speak next week and that cost £70 for a ticket, so I could have probably bought the whole room for £5k and made it just me and them.
Imagine that.

Isn't the above a brilliant illustration of how different things are worth way different prices to different people?Sam wrote:Fair point.

Which also explains why there is no such thing as the correct price for anything. It depends on who you are, and where you see value. Any othe interpretation is, well, just Communism, and that, as we all know is terrible.

Indeed.
£70 is definitely good value to listen to two 80s Spurs legends in one night though. Only a fool would argue with that.

It's impossible to evaluate value for money using logic as it depends on many variables - not least
the size of your passion and wallet.
I choked on my coffee when Harry explained how much the owner spent painting this 2.7 RS in white
with green decals.

Re: PS autoart value
.
Your link to the auction results is for a different auction - the RS was in the Jan 2019 sale at the Autosport Show.
It didn't sell (not at the auction anyway).
The quoted cost of £40k included the necessary body restoration.
