Sat in the garden this morning, nice cup,of tea in hand, sun shining , mild hangover and lemans live stream ... Almost like being there but with the benefit of not having to tramp across the field for the toilet

Sat in club HQ watching race with Tea and croissant hoping I'll get back through Stow. Horrific queues.

Porsche regained the lead in the 23rd Hour. Naturally!

Good to see a Porsche win, but feels a little hollow without extensive competition. Better still to see Aston take the GTE win, fighting down to the last lap, and winning on the last lap.

But everyone wanted Toyota to win, Porsche is now the Audi Team that everyone loves to hate.
but 2017 lemans will be remembed mostly for this..

Porsche LMP1 won fair and square using all their resources.
What endurance racing is all about IMHO.
During the coverage I saw there was some barging through by the LM cars in general.
Speed difference is obvious and thing are tense.
Good race, but 2 more heavy teams needed at the top at least or are the real racers LMP2?

I was at the Le Mans@Zuffenhausen, a 24H live broadcasting of the Le Mans 24H race at the Porsche Museum in Zuffenhausen.
Several giant screens are place in and around the Porsche Museum. Some of the Museum cars are outside, started and revved up at
certain moments (comparable to the Sound Nacht)
No need to say there was lots of atmosphere.. and btw free beer when chequered flag fell down and the 19th overall victory was certain
