Buggered up the electrics

Post by gridgway »

So I started with working US light things going on.

I worked out that I could take out the bulbs of the side repeaters and also the 4w ones at the back that illuminate the indicators when the sidelights are on.

I also found that the front indicators came on piggy-backed to the sidelights. That was easy enough to change the wiring to take out the indicators. All worked well until I went for a test drive (ahem).

Then the rh indicators stopped, then both indicators stopped along with the warning lights on the dash (handbrake etc).

So now I have no indicators, no hazards and no warning lights on the dash. The fuses you can see look ok.

What on earth have I done??

The common denominator and first thing to check would be the indicator/warning Relay

Ahh, sounds good. Are the relays easy to get to?

Take the two screws out eitherside of the fuses and carefully lower the fuse board.

Relays are behind.
