Oil filter console

Post by Jesse »

Can the oil filter console be fitted wrong on a -71 911T or is it (the 3 screws) offset hence only goes on one way?

Have tried looking in the workshop manual but didnt find anything on this matter..

Kind regards

Just turn it round until the 3 screws line up, i don't remember there being an offset, so it should fit 3 ways

Thanks for your reply Nick!

How do I know which of the 3 ways is correct if it can be fitted all 3 ways?

Sorry if I am being unclear!

You need to line up the hole arrowed with the corresponding hole in the tank (usually at the bottom as seen in this picture):
