Hello everyone, i am a new member and have had trouble registering, all user error! There may be a previous post out there so apologies for any confusion. This is a test and if all is ok i will attempt a photo or 2 shortly. My real name is Paul, maybe it would have been a better user name? Stop typing, take pics!
Thanks Ian, it took years of convincing the PO to let go. It was a complete ivory car when i took over but had been vandalised but all good now. Loads of welding done over the last 2 years and then it dawned on me that the unusually rot-free floorpans had been previously replaced with Beetle ones so very not happy but that's it with old stuff, chasing and correcting the bodges. Also need a pr of front wings as i eventually realised those fitted are LWB ones so also need lights & grilles oh and a correct rear grille and to top it all i think a pr of rear wings would be best as there are repairs, dents that were not apparent under the filler and the arches had been flared so all in all got my work cut out and about £6k to spend on just buyinh the panels. Those lovely Canadian ones look the part even though they'll hardly be seen.. Finally, Mrs. C3s wants an extension on the house! Can i hear laughing?! [EYES]
