He's probably joining us and will be doing the tunnel route .

Yup ..always up for a bit of tunnelling

Once we get dates agreed we can see if a meet with the northern boys is possible en route and we can sort out the times...

Jp

I want to go to Spa next year too and would probably take the tunnel and meet up en route.
Simon - the ferry is almost equidistant from the tunnel for us - I'm going to do the ferry, it does add more time onto the weekend, but that's all to the good if you're on a ferry with some mates and some beers....

Nobody posted on here for a while so here goes.

Like your idea Brian for Ulster Coast ( incl Donegal - havn't been there in ages). With the right contacts I'm sure they would bring out the red carpet for a bunch of early Porsches. Or the west Cost of Ireland idea. Great little roads where you can have loads of fun at 'moderately' legal speeds
In fact if someone else is organising it, I'm in. It would be rude not to.
R, RS & RSR plans are moving along nicely so should be spoilt for choice assuming I don't run out of money first :?
Happy New Year to this thread and hoping it goes somewhere :?:

Andrew I messaged Brendan about this and he seems to think that getting his 911 running to going to take his spare time up this year!!

I'm still keen and happy try and organise but with zero knowledge or roads I would need some help. Lets see if that is any interest and what time of the year is best?

Sarah and I would be up for doing something in Ireland some time between 11th and 19th July. Maybe a long wknd touring round Donegal and Fermanagh ? 11th-13/14thth or 16th/17th to 19th ?
I think we plan to drive to the north of Ireland that week in any case.
Just a thought and would love to meet up with other DDkers if anyone was up for it ?

just for your info - low cost ferries to N.Ireland are available from Nutt Travel in Coleraine - generally 10-15% cheaper than on line prices from stena line - just google them for contact details. Well known here in NI and widely used.

Andrew, pity you can't make the WAW trip in May (17 - 23)' as it fits your West of Ireland bill.
Your July timings are prime holiday time up here in the North so hope you're planning to book hotels soon.
Cheers

Are they anything to do with Dessie Nutt the rally chap?

Hmm, not sure, I believe it is run by Billy Nutt, ex CoC of the NW200, both are from the Coleraine area, so the is probably some family connection, however distant.
