"We are proud to offer for sale this very rare and important 1966, RHD Porsche 911S. This is not a restored car, but a car that has been beautifully preserved for over 40 years. Matching numbers with mostly all of her original body panels and only 41,309 miles she is in truly remarkable condition.
Porsche launched the ‘S’ model at the Geneva Salon in September of 1966. We understand that AFN ordered three cars for customer use – the press car (LYY 911D) was ordered for delivery in October. In addition three further cars LYV 9D, LYV 10D, and LYV 11D were delivered and registered on the 9th September 1966.
Chassis # 305481S left the factory in 1966 and was original presented with Aga blue (6608) body colour and Black Leatherette interior, this scheme still current on the car. The car underwent very light renovation at Autofarm in the early 90′s and still retains all of the precious and irreplaceable details including; deco trims on the rear trim panels, correctly detailed 4.5 inch Fuchs, Webber ‘S’ stamped IDA carbs, passenger head restraint and bonnet badge"
I'm not sure what GVB 911D chassis number is.
LYY 911D is Chassis No 305328 but the above is incorrect as the car was registered 12th August 1966

(I erased the last signature as I have contacted the owner who is still around and has some interesting stories - I will post later)
