1/5th Scale half model (using Al's idea of a mirror to do half the work and ensure perfect symmetry), weighing in around six kilos, and (in theory) bang-on scale. Not a detail model by any means, but every dimension is accurate, including the wheels.
The areas of the car that we are looking to re-design are obviously left off, and the idea is that Steve and Al will work through various possibilities in foam / clay / filler as needs be. All being well, we'll end up with the thing as a finished half-model, from which I can work from, and indeed derive dimensions to work back onto the full-sized version.
If I get time, I'll post up how I went about it all, suffice to say there's more to it than meets the eye.

And just to prove that it does fit:

95 hours alll in, including making the wheels. Cost has already been wiped away by a discovery on the front end that could have left things looking odd had we built the car as mapped out at present.
