When Porsche went from the very early SWB to the longer LWB cars, what did they actually change (other than the length )?
I believe the early wings and bonnet are not interchangable but how about the body from the floor pan/front screen pillars to the rear quarter sections? I imagine it remained much the same but would appreciate any comments regarding interchangability.
Engine lid opening stayed the same from '65-'89 so any lid from this period will fit but early '65-'67 engine lids had a central vertical 'bar' which may look incorrect on a later car.
Floorpans, sills, doors are all interchangeable between swb & lwb (pre-'74) models.
Front wings are different around the sidelight/indicator/horn grille area & have slightly different headlamp buckets.
Front bumpers have different mountings. Rear bumpers are different lengths.
Rear number plate panels are interchangeable.
That's all I can think of offhand.

...and I'd imagine the wheel aperture might well be in a different place to accomodate the revised wheel base with the shorter trailing arms...other than that you'll be fine!
