1970 911T for sale 45,000€

My Ivory white 911T is for sale here and on Pistonheads.
You may find cheaper, but think you will be hard pushed to find better.
The 32K mileage cannot be verified with documentation, however if you drive the car and see the engine and components the car reflects the mileage.
Alan (Canford Classics) did the full restoration under 2 years ago.
Car is French reg and has a Control Technic (equivalent of MOT)
It is dry stored 25 mins from Nice airport.
I am in no particular hurry to sell the car, but am just not getting around to appreciating her as I now have another Porsche (87 930) and am running out of space (have 4 cars!)
The 911T lives under a soft blanket in the warm dry garage and the other cars have to slum it under a car port!
I am going to sell the 930 in 12-18 months but if the 930 sells 1st I may hang on to the 911T
The car drives like new - no smoke, no rust, minimal oil leaks - as normal!
I can take any extra pics should someone need specifics or I can take and post youtube videos.

£25 to £40k in two years! That's pretty good going.

I am sure from the outside it might look like that, however after the initial purchase price, I put another £3K into it with Alan in upgrades plus I did get it at a cheap price.
It was examined in France by an insurance appraiser for an agreed valuation insurance with a small dent in the door and oil leak - both which have been fixed now- at a price of 43,000€ so I believe the price is about right.
Maybe not for the UK market possibly, but time will tell.

Actually 45,000€ = £38,094 at today's inter bank rate

Thanks for comments, car is in immaculate condition and wants for nothing.
It is a correct 'matching numbers car', not a 'mish mash' of odds and ends!
It does have some tastefull modifications from 100% stock though which include:
Recaro replicas, front and rear inertia seat belts (so you can fit kiddie car seats)
Hydraulic chain tensioners, SSI heat exchangers.

I am currently running on the original Marelli distributer, which looks immaculate and runs fine. I will include a Bosch distributer (for which you can get points, rotors and caps! It is the correct 2.2'T' Bosch distributer in excellent condition (value 3-500€ 'IF' you can find one!) These distributers are in short supply which is why I snagged this one (from the USA).
This is the 1 and only 911 which I have had where EVERYTHING works down to glove box light, all courtesy lights including front luggage area lights, etc
I did not install a radio as the quality of a period correct one would be rubbish and I pefer the uncluttered look and song of the flat 6.
I have the original tan seats which would need recovering, but interior was retrimmed in black to match seats - and looks 100% better.

I am not in a rush to sell the car, as stated, and think it is a fair price based on the condition. The car really does run like a 'brand new' 1970 sports car!

I understand these cars are hard to put a value on, however they are not making any more!
Just people like Alan and Nick Moss who are reviving ones, which are suitable candidates

There are plenty of cars out there which may 'seem' comparible from a distance, but which are hiding rust bubbles, bondo filler and other gremlins!
This one is 'certified gremlin free'

dont get me wrong I think this looks a great car and I know Alan does brilliant work, but can you really say "certified gremlin free" on a car that hasn't had a full engine rebuild?

the certified 'gremlin free' was meant in good humour - hence the smiley face afterwards
If an engine runs sweetly with no smoke and a suspected original low mileage, why would you do an engine rebuild?
The car has the Zeniths rebuilt (I beleive Alan did them) and has new OEM plug leads, new plugs and points, hydraulic tensioners, new clutch and throwout bearing. When the 1st gear snapped, the mainshaft was replaced and all of the synchros inspected. The bearing race which was nearest to the 1st gear was replaced and the gearbox reassembled with new gaskets.

Cars can always break down and parts fail. If anyone really wants a used car which is 100% reliable, then buy a German car which is less than 5 years old with low mileage.
