I still kick myself for not buying the red concours 356B notchback that was being sold by a guy I bought a 2.4S mfi set-up from about 7 years ago ...

There's a whole new aircooled world out there Helen waiting for you to buy it;) Notchbacks and any Type III for that matter are cool.

it was rockerfella (sp?) who said you are only truely rich when you can live off the interest of your interest.... but back to possibly the ugliest of porsche's built back in the day.. odd I'll grant you, striking yes but please please, you cant say that the notchback 'bit' is pretty?


looks in great nick though.. the carplanet guy seems to find em and actually from a purely voyeristic perspective American car sellers seem to make much more of an effort than most uk sellers when it comes to 'promoting' vehicles. - the standard front, back, profile and obligatory tool kit in the boot is hardly in the same car-pornesque ball park as these guys...

What's ugly to one person is beautiful to someone else. Just think of it as the 356 version of a hardtop targa.
Just think they're a bit quirky and unusal, that's why I'm restoring one!

yes, sorry - not my intention to be insensitive to notchback owners :oops: they are quirky and unusual I'll give you that. - good luck with the restoration. if its like any of your other cars I'll ultimately be green with envy :)
