I have advertised my car here :-
http://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=30364
I am more than happy for interested parties to ask questions and put forward posts on the topic, as I know that the For Sale section will not allow further posts.
Car looks and goes fantastic, and my recent Spa Track day was a delight to drive there and back, and to do circa 200 miles on the track. A true multi purpose street and track capable car.

Seems you went through a hell of a lot of work and then put it up for sale? Not an uncommon scenario I grant you!
Must have something special in mind to replace it or was the final result not quite what you had hoped for?

Bootsy,
TBH the car is more than I hoped for when I set out - I really didn't expect to end up with a genuine Type 911/83 2.7 Carrera engine, but pretty much everything else is how I saw it (:-))
I spoke to a number of people and said that when I got to theend of the journey, I was very satisfied with the result, but.......the journey had ended, and that was as enjoyable as the end result.
So, I have decided to sell the car (I am enjoying it this year with trips and track days) and do another project.
I love looking for parts, refreshing and refurbing, and then ending up with something special at the end.
If I don't have any takers, then I will enjoy this year and continue to improve and do subtle mods over the winter.
The car is a great base for someone wanting to create a really good 1973RS with FIA Papers for Competition, and they sell for top money, so that might be an option
Happy to hear from anyone that has somehting they feel might form the basis for another Early 911 project.

Makes sense, seems with many of us that the thrill is in the chase!

Had a day off and visited a couple of 'experts' to appraise the car and discuss my next project and options.
I also met someone that out of the blue is looking for such a car, so may be on to a good lead there.
I have adjusted the price in line with today's discussions, as pricing a car such as this is to say the least difficult, so £40K it is
