guys are the parade laps worth it? If it's a gentle ride at 30mph then it will be an exercise in frustration as shown in the Porsche Club website. or is it a proper blast where you can enjoy it properly?

In previous years they have been good fun with plenty of opportunity to give the car a work outsteve wright wrote:guys are the parade laps worth it? Hi all,
I have done as "JB" has used the PCF link and booked as 1st ticket's e mail instructs :
"The basic pack is the Week-end access, which includes your general entry, paddock and grandstand." (1st tickets quote)
plus I added parade laps, I could not see grandstand access an my booking conformation so contacted PCF who were fast to reply with :
Hi, with « week-end access » you haven’t a grandstand access, just general admission, paddock access, and the place to the parking Club.
It was getting late on Friday so have requested PCF let me know how to upgrade to get grandstand access and am waiting their reply.
PCF and 1st Tickets have been great with fast replies to e mail queries after all the PCF web site is translated from French to English and my brain works best in Welsh, so no big deal. Will update when PCF reply.
Gwyn.

All done and paid for now. Just need to take a photo of my car (Eek!!) for the PCF infield parking. If I get it at the right angle , maybe they won't notice that its not finished yet !!
I ordered the PCF access pack, but retained the grandstand seats through 1st tickets, for the extra £17, would it really matter if I end up with extra seats that I don't use ? I didn't think so !!
Next step is to make the car work !!

Some of our 'parade laps' in 2006 to be glimpsed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jV21YKq093ksteve wright wrote:guys are the parade laps worth it? In 2008 the PCF seemed to have it sorted the grouping/despatch of the cars slightly better, and we got an even better run.
My speedo indicated 138mph on the Mulsanne! (although the calibration on our 70s dials are probably a bit out

Final call for bookings !!!!
I am doing a final check of all bookings in, then once this has been done we are officially closing the book.
Everyone should have paid in full by now. If you have not then do so ASAP.
