Anyone in need of an oil pump shield tin piece?

Hi All
I have seen pictures of this shield, and its not something I will loose sleep over but why are they such an elusive item and I'm a little puzzled as to why they don't leave evidence behind such as chafing etc, did main dealers pull them off due to rattles at the first service or did they just drop off the first time something clouted a flapper box, speaking of flapper box's I am delighted with my used ones Mr Smith.
