Hello All!

Post by 356 Newbie »

As the name suggests i'm pretty new to the porsche game having graduated from VW's and other classics. I'm not one for stock cars and i'm currently running around in a modified 70's beetle and have a 68 Karmann Ghia which i've grafted a 2.2lt subaru engine into.

Here's my latest and greatest, you'll have seen it before (and for sale on here recently) but I collected it from my good friend Paul at the weekend.

Plenty of plans, first off get it back on the road then start the long road of gentle restoration refurbishment and perhaps a few (reversible) modifications.

No doubt i'll be frequenting the tech section a fair bit as my 356 knowledge grows.

I'll also be loitering in the for sales as there are a fair few bits i'll need and also a few spares to pass on to generate some funds!

For those into the VW's i'm also known as Rapidresto on Volkstorque and Salty on VZi.

Always pleased to see another "A" and especially a RHD one. Looks like you will be having some fun with this one. I am sure you will get help when needed.

Enjoy

And so the confusion begins!

Sadly its not an A but a 1960 B which back many moons ago had the front clip from an A grafted on following a bit of a bump!

The RHD is also bit of a red herring, it was a left hooker originally, being converted many moons ago when it was imported from france so i'm told!

*EDIT* beaten to it! :)
