This site has become a great source of info so I thought it was about time I joined in the fun - I'm a Brit based in Delaware and I brought my RHD RS over with me and now have a couple more Porsches to keep it company.

There are several RS owners on here and many other lovely early cars - do post some pictures in the Members Cars Gallery and enjoy the banter

Hello Nick, welcome.
Have another go with the photos so we can see your car. This link should help.

thanks
thanks for the welcome and thanks for posting a pic or two - funny story with the rear box I borrowed for the run to Hershey swap meet 5 years back - obviously the twin pipes are a little long but when I took it through its first US inspection I swore that the tail pipes were factory standard !!! The inspector hobbled off after tripping over one.
The 1st photo that Andy posted is at the 50th PCA Parade, I even got a pic of Jerry Seinfeld infront of this strange Porsche with steering on the wrong side !
now I'll try to link you to a couple more pics !
If this works its with Derek Bell who presented the 1st place at the PCA Concours (people choice) - yeap I won that --- well a RHD RS in Upstate NY is pretty rare, and being driven the 7 hrs there and the 7 hrs back plus getting clocked for speeding !!

Pic of the Speedster with suitable tag - you can't believe how cheap these are compared to private plates in the UK

Pics of Black RS
Yeap there's probably a pic or two in PCGB mag's - in 95 I attended the London regions event at canary wharf - 3 black RS there - not bad out of 10. The car was also at Althorp when the RS were displayed in front of the house, and as a past director of PCGB I did attend a good number of events over the years, I was also RO for region 24 (Cambs). Now for my sins I'm President of the Delaware region of PCA ( as they say USA is the land of opportunity - I became Prez in 6 years !)
Thanks for all the compliments - yeap it's a great car (well all early 911 are). The car is driven most weekends to events large or small - Watkins Glen is the furthest drive so far but it only time - drive across the country is one thing that I'm going to do....
Cheers for now
BTW anything happening next weekend around London, I'm flying through and have a stop over for a day or two ....
