I've just changed from Photobucket to Flickr for my picture hosting (via a Mac) and now can't seem to get the IMG thing to work. I paste the URL in between the IMG codes but just get a little blue box with a question mark in it. Anyone have any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?

Philip - from your 'photostream' on Flickr :
click on the relevant picture
click on the arrow to the rhs of 'Actions' & select 'View all sizes'
select the size you want then right click on the image & select 'properties'
copy the html code (URL) & paste it between the 'img' tags on DDK
Voila !
This is the routine when using a PC - don't know if it differs on a Mac though ...

For FlickR:
Go to the picture page, click on 'Share'
Select 'BB Code' and the size you want. Normally I use the 640 pixels width.
Then just copy and paste the whole text into your post without any additional tags.

You're putting image tags around the URL of that page, not the URL of the image
However looking at that page I'm not sure the lightbox you are using on your site actually publishes a URL for the image

It looks like you are linking to the webpage where your image is, and not the actual image itself (which is what needs to go between the 'img' tags.

Photobucket have produced a video tutorial on how to post/link images on forums. It's quite helpful. be warned you need to go into 'Update Link Options' and enable 'Easy Linking Option' to see the screen (with the linking boxes under each image) they see when viewing their library.
Anyway, thought this may help
