Hi everyone,

thanks for the kind comments, can't wait to get my hands on it.

It is indeed Adrian's old car, should be picking it up on sunday from Mike karavasili's place (RSK engineering) where it has just had it's MOT.

Won't have chance to pop in and see anyone I'm afraid, but don't worry, I will certainly meet up with everyone soon.

trust me, this car will be driven!

(PS: Ad, I also have your spare wheel...!)

kind regards
Rob

That's about 20 minutes from my house - maybe I'll just come and hang-around outside, and you won't be able to avoid me seeing you in your (lovely, by the way) new car.

Can you do me a favour fella? Would it be possible to take a photo or two of the back of the engine bay and the way the breathers are arranged on your '6? Mine have been messed with :)

It was a really nice car last time I went in it (back in 2002 at the International meet as I recall).

Far quicker, and probably cheaper than doing one yourself!

Good choice Rob - wish I'd done something similar all those years ago!

Finally got the car home and went out and about in it over easter. Apart from the valves being a bit noisy, car is going great. Nice and torquey below 3500 rpm, and above that it really goes well. I've had a grin on my face since I've got it, and can't stop taking a peak in the garage - how sad is that!

Looks to be in lovely condition & in one of the best colours - will it make an appearance at the next Fairmile meet (which I think should be next Wednesday) ?
