The 67S motor had the (unused) mounting for the old mechanical scavenge pump that was used on the very early 130 bhp 911 motors on the left cam chanin cover. The S motor is identified by its type number 901/02 and the engine number which in your case appears to be in the correct range. The S also had alloy barrels which you should be able to identify easily enough.

Hello, there.

It seems you have a selection of parts there!

The twin mech pumps on the left can chain cover are for the Solexes..which preceded the S engines..

Thcase however seems to have probably come from a later engine.

You may also find you have centre feed cam oiling, and probably the Solex cams, which are a bit less powerful than the S cams..

I am looking for an early engine, for a resto I'm doing, so if you want to sell it I am interested.

I have a 3.6 motor which will fit if you want!.....and several gearboxes to suit..

Kind regards
David
