On the Welsh roads my car was fantastic. I hadn't realised how stiff the suspension was until I swapped with Yoda! Around town (especially London) it is perhaps too stiff but on fast roads it is close to perfection. I had swapped the period wheel for a 350 mm Momo just before the trip (I was finding the original wheel was hitting my thigh). Worked very well. Cornering was such fun: so confidence inspiring I was managing to stick to Yoda's ducktail (when we swapped he disappeared!)hot66 wrote:Nice line upand looks like you had the weather

Our 40 year old cars are unbelievably capable & rewarding
You don't have to go across Europe for an epic road trip with spectacular roads
Road speed doesn't need to be mental to have fun on the right roads in the right car
Trips are better with good mates and this is what our cars are all about, driving.
