Great find...but is he happy?

So many parallels with Singer, it would be interesting to know if the car fulfills the "80% of the car for 20% of the cost" theory.

When I first saw some pics and details of his garage on Pelican I think, my first reaction was (having lived there for 7 years) 'typical American' - bet he got some fancy designer and a contractor gave them a blank cheque, and now its all for show. Well having been forced to eat all that humble pie with lashings of gravy, I am now just full of admiration and questions. Admiration because he has achieved what I've tried and abjectly failed - to craft an efficient clean and cheap workspace largely from recycled stuff that looks great and I'd just love to work in.

My main question is: HTF does he keep it clean?

Start grinding off any weld and I've got filings and burn marks everywhere, and once you start sanding down filler, well you might as well just explode a bag of talc - it gets inside stuff that's inside closed drawers and cabinets. Must employ a cleaner .......daily .......?

Still jealous though. Shame he seems like a nice bloke as well - would be much easier to find fault and be less envious if he was an arsehole.

The ultimate Hot Rod 911?
Singer looks to the passer by, " best parts" from his view point (I like that quote) and a package that for 13 years has worked for him.

I would love that flush collapsed lift platform.

How does he keep it clean?
Bet he rarely uses it now, that's how.

Do those aero tweeks work?

Great film and far more 'us' than the Singer video, though that is a great film too!
