I've got a few.... this is one of the keepers though as it's the bike I aspired to when I bought my first mountain bike (a Kona Lavadome) in the early '90's.

It's a titanium Kona Hei Hei frame picked up second hand and built it up with all the dusty junk in the shed that's been swapped out over the years from other bikes. I have new bikes as well, but there's something about the Hei Hei that is just inherently simple, simplified further by the fact it's got a rigid project 2 fork on the front at the moment, so no discs, no fannying about with shock pumps before you go, just grab it and ride it!

Having lost a stone and a half in the heat here i'll be reluctant to regain it! So thought I might have a few rides if time permits when I return to the UK. Nothing serious mind, but couldn't resist a proper road bike at 350 notes
More likely will try and bring the bike over here to savour the (very hilly) roads around where we live....
Hmmm. Men of a certain age on road bikes. It can be a questionable look :

I'm not saying you couldn't pull it off Mick. They say this guy is still quite quick :

Don't recognise these guys, although the one in white has the look of Hoban. Who are they?

I don't think the one in white is anyone. Here is the orange fellow 30 odd years ago :

Picked this up off the 'Bay

Currently it's in all it's constituent bits and the forks/dropouts widened to take modern hubs. Powdercoating next week and then I will rebuild it...

The good Dr M died a couple of weeks back and the Mk3 was the best iteration of his F Frame design until very recent limited number versions at £4k! Yes, it's full-sus  and the design was launched 50 years ago. Great for hacking to the shops

After much deliberation I decided to treat myself to one of these today - my first Italian bike, ordered with Campagnolo groupset. I am like a kid at Christmas  It arrives in a couple of weeks, and I can't wait. I still have my Specialized MTB and Allez for commuting when I feel like it. But the Wilier will be for those lovely Sunday morning rides and a few sportives I have booked. Wheels and saddle will be upgraded after I've got the first 100 miles done I think...! Oh, and tyres immediately!

Have the very same on my barn floor... Great minds and all that! All bolt on bits are being restored, frame staying as found in polished-through burgundy and scratches but new bushes on the swing arm and vintage Brooke's saddle and leather handle grips to gentrify it a tad.

Enjoyed seeing all the various bikes you guys have and ride.

I have been meaning to post up a photo of my ride. Took this one in warmer weather last Fall. A Scott Addict with SRAM components and a somewhat old school wired Powertap setup. Looking for a new set of wheels as we speak for this coming season.

Sadly here is the current location.:( ;)
