Now that would be telling and seeing as i have to spend all weekend with him at Bug Jam i should pay it safe. (Suffice to say that i did not know that Stuttgart ever made pink knickers)...

...actually the garage is simply known locally as 'Dr. Mullett's Detail Shack'!!! :D

Many wild and wonderful things, last night there was some polishing of some spokes on a Nardi Steering Wheel

I see he has two Durants fitted - how did he solve the viewing angle problem - can you actually use the offside one?

I think 'What's in Bootsy's garage ?' should be the Friday competition!

ha ha! No, you cannot really see a great deal. Just an excuse to get a little more chrome on the car!

I fitted the second Durant mirror on mine because, being LHD, I felt more comfortable being able to see all the aces in the Vauxhall Astras straining to overtake. The viewing angle was solved by fitting a wedge rubber gasket under the original, which pushed it out far enough to get a good sighting of the offside (for me) rear. Not sure whether this picture helps, but it does show the offset and how far the mirror is pushed out.

Paul - can you take some close-up shots of the mirror location & rubber wedge ?

Gladly, but the car is in UK and I won't be back there until 24th August. I don't suppose you will be at Brands at the end of August? Hopefully I will be there with the car. In the meantime, I will try and get someone to take a photo.
