Hi everyone,

I read late Friday night Darren's message here and I was really looking for a decent excuse not to go to Belgium this weekend. A friend had a wedding but at the moment I am sick of driving/ flying back and forth. Besides, I am going this Thursday again anyway and there is no amount of porsche miles that is going to make this any better.

I tried texting James and Mike and indeed I tried calling Tim (I am a warden of a Hall of residence for International Students here at Notts Uni hence the landline number I think  )

No worries- it turned out to be quite a chilled weekend and I needed to give myself some time off.

I am really sorry to hear about Will's VR6 breakdown- hope it gets sorted in due time.

And regarding the masterclass: if there is another one being planned, I will put my name forward in due time....

Best regards,

Bert

I made a flywheel locktab, just visible in the picture. There's a place for it to fit on the engine support. I had a spline drive the right size and a long breaker bar. They just undid ! Easy as that. It's nice when you've got the right tools. :)

Is this to be "THE" hot engine with all the tuning bits? or is it just on the Barby with the fire lighters warming it befor you start????
