Re: Williams Crawford Porsche and MCE porsche

Typical entitled self-important old person. Why ? Because I expect people to de their job, perhaps if the younger generation didn’t spend so much time on social media with a phone glued to their hand, in stead of being up to their eyeballs in debt relying on us older self important people to bail t...

Re: Williams Crawford Porsche and MCE porsche

William Crawford update ! I did receive an apology on WhatsApp last night, however as my phone is not surgically attached I diidnt pick this up until this morning, after a phone call from the salesman. I suspect this was only due to a member on here pointing out my post to Arian Crawford last night....

Re: Williams Crawford Porsche and MCE porsche

I think the world is madder than a box of frogs at the moment. I expressed interest some time ago in a VW ID3. Registered and stuff and got an email from VW last week to call my local dealer. Did so and waited for a call back which came the same day. Had a chat and the sales dude didn't really know...

Re: Williams Crawford Porsche and MCE porsche

Sam I think you are being very generous, the salesman has been on WhatsApp several times since Friday. I wouldn’t have minded, leave it with I will get back to you, reply, but as of now nothing. I to run a small business, if someone phoned me Showing interest in spending K80, I would at least have t...

Williams Crawford Porsche and MCE porsche

Last week I had reason to contact both of the above, Mike at MCE for service and MOT. Mike extremely knowledgable, gave a tour of his work shop, a couple of special cars in for total renovation which is for him to tell you about. Undertakes all the work himself to paint, fabrication, trimming, suspe...

Re: Vintage Voltage on Quest.

If you have a shell without an engine, then may be if you don’t mind the cost. Otherwise it’s like having a Rolex and swiping the workings for a Casio. Not only that, it will end up costing more than a Rolex but it it will be worth considerably less. The cost mentioned for the Ferrari was K65 plus t...

Re: Covid19 Market Value - Porsche and everything else..

If you look at the results of the recent Silverstone auction, then IMO all’s well with the world. That said, it would appear in the case of Porsche the air cooled market generally attracts the cash buyer, in which case you have probably Paid off or have what remains of a small mortgage and accrued a...

Re: Projects undertaken while Grounded?

Takeflight. I love the original paint Mf35. It looks pretty straight and dent free! I have one my father bought new in 1959 and also a Ford 4000 bought new in 1969 for the grand price of £875. Still earns it's keep on haybob and cement mixer! Yes this one is used for topping a meadow, it’s the 4 po...

Re: Projects undertaken while Grounded?

After helping the boss with the gardening, I was allowed out to play. So gave the old mf35 a much needed service. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200418/f6c5bc00c1c309743d77f5df7e5ac7b0.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200418/795f4cc641a8b6657df831ccb9a39246.jpg Sent from my iPad using Tapa...

Re: OT: race/driving sim rigs - anyone

Been looking at this myself, it’s a real conundrum, cheep and loose interest quickly due to lack of realism, spend a load of doe and loose interest quickly. Also I would probably end up in the shed, convincing my wife to give a room over for a full rig, we’ll just say I could get an audience with th...

Wouldn’t take to much notice of the marks out of 5.

I went to one of their auctions, viewed a willys jeep, they gave the chrome 3 out of 5 :|
